Mirabelle
A strand of ancient Roman glass in shaded of aqua and sea green connect a chain of sterling silver links. The stand is comprised of oblong, slightly circular beads withe aqua green ancient Roman glass rondelles. These longer beads are shards of what was possibly the rim of a glass or small jar; they have a slight curvature to them. Sediment remains (silvery flecks of minerals) on them, so they are primarily in the original state as when they were found. Any rough edges have been tumbled, but none are the same exact size. The largest of them is as long as the length of a pinky nail. These shards are gathered in Afghanistan and are of no use to archeologists. They are unique, tough, a sublimely gorgeous.
