This elongated oval stone (76 carats) has more proportionate gold color in it than any other labradorite stone I’ve seen. The hemispheres are sliced distinctly into the aqua (more green than blue) zone and the gold zone—and does that gold glow. It’s like a beacon. Note that these photos were taken in natural light; these colors are genuine and have not been taken through a filter. This is also a natural stone, the colors have not been chemically enhanced. All you need is light and this piece plugs in. The gold portion had three sweeps of darker gold, almost bronze and almost gives it a swinging motion. Strung on oval sterling silver oxidized chain; this is an “over your head” piece, so it lays a little longer, ala the 20’s. Sterling silver wire weaves the stone onto the chain.
