Aurora wrist
Aurora wrist
A blue-green string of deepening colors made from ancient Roman glass unearthed in Afghanistan. Estimated to be between 2500-2000 years old. Circled by a hand-forged sterling silver pendant (by me), the colors graduate from a cool water color to a fine, rich pine. Strung on an elegant silver chain, it secures with a sterling lobster clasp and a double loop. The width of the silver pendant is about 1.25 inches, the length is 1.5. 7” chain. I love how the colors seem to fade into one another. Sealed to keep the patina protected, some of the beads will even have mineral deposits on them. It’s a lovely, lovey, unique piece.
