Gorgeous. Circa 1910-1920, this two and a quarter inch pin had amazing detail that is romantic and fluid. The denim agate is a dome-shape and shows layers of color. Polished to a velvety gunmetal color, the original hue is on the back (I left it to remind the piece just how old it really is). Sterling silver; the stone is chipped slightly at the base and is about 2mm in size; completely unnoticeable unless you are looking through a magnifying glass as I was. I mention it for full disclosure. Does not affect the beauty of this piece. It's lovely.
