There’s a guy on Prince Edward Island with a metal detector. My guess is that he’s retired. Every day, he goes out with his toy and finds stuff. This is one of the buttons he’s dug up out of the ground. Fell off some guy’s jacket about 200 years ago. I’ve made a mold of the button, which is still remarkably high in detail, and reproduced a fine silver medallion from it. It’s a coat of arms, intricate and scrolly. On a sterling silver chain, 16”. I can’t wait to see what else he digs up!!
